Polycruncher looks like a cool program to have. However, I don't have any of the programs its listed for but I do export in 3DS format from Sketchup. I export from Sketchupo into another modeling tool because the game I develop for doesn't have its own Sketchup import routines.
I was thinking because I used 3DS format I would be able to save on some polys using PolyCruncher. I built a whole steel mill and the polys used was a lot.
But polycruncher won't install because I believe it is looking for a Max folder. But I don't have Max. So my question is, am I able to use polycruncher without having 3ds? I thought since it says 'standalone' mode that I could. - Rich

Hi,
I suggest you to download 3D Photo Browser.
It includes a stand alone version of Polygon Cruncher and you will have no difficulties to set it up on your computer.
