Introduction

Mootools company, whose head office is located at Le Pech, 24000 Saint Vincent de Cosse, France, is led to collect and process information, some of which is qualified as "Personal Data". Mootools attaches great importance to the respect of private life, and uses only data in a responsible and confidential manner and for a precise purpose.

Personal data

On the website www.mootools.com, there are 4 types of data that may be collected:

• Data transmitted directly
  These data are the ones you send us directly when you create your Mootools account. The data collection is done via an account creation form. In the contact form, some data are mandatory such " identifier ", " first and last name ", " email " fields as well as the other data that allows to establish invoicing in accordance with the standards in force (" address ", " company name "...).
• Data collected by Mootools when purchasing software
  When you purchase software, data is generated and stored on our website such as the "order number", the "order date" and other information allowing you to use the ordered software ("serial number", "version" ...).
• Data collected by external service providers when browsing the site via cookies
  Mootools site installs 2 cookies whose functionalities are limited to statistical analysis purposes via Google Analytics (Pixel Meta) and Facebook (Pixel Facebook) services
  You can accept or refuse the installation of these cookies without limiting the functionalities of the Mootools site, via the feature proposed by "Tarte au citron".
• Data collected by external service providers at the time of purchase
  Some data is collected by auxiliary services used at the time of purchase of the software. Please refer to their data policy. These providers are Paypal, ShareIt!

When you install a Mootools software on your computer, the data exchanged are the following:

• License verification data
  Data allowing to check the validity of your license and its activation are sent to the Mootools server.
  The MAC ID of your computer's network card is used to link the license to your computer so that the license can be activated.
  This data is hashed and is only used as part of the mechanism related to the validation of your license and its activation.
• Technical data when the application crashes
  When a problem occurs while using the software, it generates an error report and suggests that you send it to us.
  This data is used for debugging purposes only.
• Other data provided under your consent to technical support
  When you send us data for analysis (e.g. a 3D model), this data is used internally only for debugging purposes.
  

Use of data stored on the Mootools server (registered users)

The data that you send us are used:

• in order to allow you to access your order information
• in order to validate the creation of your account on the Mootools site and its forum
• in order to allow us to send you e-mails with commercial offers about our software or partner software
• in order to send you newsletters on the evolution of our software.

You may suspend receipt of these emails at any time using the link embedded in these emails or from your user account.

The data used by Mootools, which is responsible for data processing, will never be transferred to a third party.

Storage period

Data corresponding to inactive accounts will be saved for a maximum of 3 years. The data corresponding to active accounts (user with one or more orders) are kept without time limit so that the user keep his purchased licenses and update possibilities. However, an active account may be deleted at the request of the user with the immediate loss of the associated licenses as consequence.

Cookies

Here is the list of cookies used and their purpose:

• Google Analytics Meta Pixel in its limited version for statistical analysis.
• Facebook Pixel in its version limited to statistical analysis.

These cookies can be refused at any time by using the cookie management panel offered by "Tarte au citron" at the bottom right of the screen, when browsing the site.
